| Hormonal? Hi. I'm new to the forum and I have a 2 year old yorkie named Lucy. I just got her fixed this last Friday. Ever since then, she's been really obnoxiously mean towards my fiance' when he comes around me to the point where I have to take her away because she's going to bite him. In the past, she's been a little protective around me when it comes to him, but never this bad. She is my dog and my baby and she knows it. The vet seems to think it's all hormonal and she'll calm down because right now she's just being over protective of me. Anyone here ever had an experience like this? I'm a little nervous because she's way out of character. Any feedback would be great! Thanks Tonisha |

| I bet it is hormones. My girls seem to hate each other (and they are the best of friends) during and around their heat. Abby didn't allow Sydney into the living room for over a week. I felt so sorry for Sydney ,she looked so sad. . I was worried about Abby's agressiveness but it all went away. Hopefully Lucy will be back to normal soon. |
