Ellie, I didn't get home until late this evening, so I was ecstatic when I saw you got Bengi back. I watched the video and I couldn't be happier for you, your family, but especially for Bengi. What a wonderful weekend you are going to have now.

I'm in awe of Bemgi for being such a resilient little boy, for Ellie and her families tenacious search that did not let up, and Disney for making this dream come true.

Interestingly - I travel an hour and a half one way every other week end to work at a hospital in a large metropolitan area. They pay my travel expenses, salary and for a motel room one or two night. They gave me a list of the hotel/motels they would pay for and when I saw Clarion listed as one of them right away I said no way. Cali makes that trip with me every other week end and she is the one those kids in the hospital want to see (I'm just sort of the driver of the car)

Cause a lady from the station sent me a message on youtube saying she was interested in running the story; so I called her and since I was far she said we could skype and she said they were going to call me but they never did

I thought they weren't going to run the story today...

They show the same video we have here !!! And were so sad and happy he was found by disney's workers ...
They felt so happy for the family, they said the dog look so happy to see them after 3 weeks ..... That's WKMG I wonder if we can see it on the internet....

I just have to read your post over and over and just rejoice that precious Benji is back home. Give him hugs from all of us Yorkie lovers. You and Benji have been on my heart so much and I am happy for you! When I thank the Lord at Thanksgiving I will certainly be thanking Him for a safe return of our furry friend Benji. I wish I could be there to pet him and watch him enjoy being with his family again!

They showed the video. They said he was lost from the hotel not far from Disney and he was found by Disney workers 3 weeks later. They said that he was lucky to have been found safe in Florida's environment. They did not mention the hotel name, that they were at fault, or anything of that nature.

If this news channel had shown this story a long time ago, this little dog might have been found by someone much sooner! I wonder if this is one of those that was emailed and asked to run the story of his being missing and didn't until it turned out to be a good Disney story.
