| Tapeworms My daughter read us Humans can get tapeworm from a Yorkie. Is this true? |

| No, but maybe.. A human can get a tapeworm if he/she accidentally swallows an infected flea. If that flea is brought in on your dog (or cat), I guess it is indirectly responsible. Bottom line, worm your pets and use flea control ETA: Meant to point out that THAT is how the dog/cat gets the tapeworms, too...by ingesting an infected flea
