| Joel is waking up and already is drinking and wanting alot of food, I was trying not to feed him too much but he keeps squeeling for more,lol so he's doing good |

| I hope he is feeling better today. Many times the first day they are still fighting off the anesthetic. It makes them sleepy and kind of confused. The pain medicine they gave Gracie after her spay was an anti inflammatory. I gave it to her once but decided not to give it again because anti inflammatories can cause more problems than do good especially if the pet is not eating much. Yet a stronger med may make them sleepy for a longer length of time and their bladder and bowl functions may not get working as quickly as they should. He may still be a little mopy today but tomorrow he should be much better. |

| Update for Joel:Feeling better and eating waaaay more now he keeps crying for food and eats his whole days worth of food in one meal, is that normal after a nueter? Fussy and demanding since his nueter, I hope he goes back to normal when heals ![]() And is getting angry about the outfit he has to wear, other than that he's doing good, lol P.s. He's eating alot! | Since you had to with hold food before the surgery he probably feels a bit empty. It wouldn't hurt him to have a little extra if it makes him more comfortable. He's been through some trauma! |

| The thing is, the time he fasted was about the same time he normaly wouldn't eat so he barely knew he went without food, lol and he's still eating alot. Silly boy ![]() But I gave him a himalayan chew just to keep him busy Last edited by ilovejoel; 11-13-2012 at 04:37 PM. |
