| My groomer does the glue on earrings, but I wouldn't even do that to my girls I think to actually put holes in dogs ears would be so cruel

| Piercing, booty bling, and temp tattoos. So much to consider. mom tattoo is looking more and more appealing.

| LOL, I can picture Kaji with a huge <3 Mom tattoo on his belly. Imagine the strange looks you would get at the vet's office.

| I know here one woman was convicted of animal cruelty for piercing kittens. I think that a good case could be made for anyone doing the same to their dogs anywhere in the US, and I can't agree that it's something that's cute, or OK to do. Anyone with real piercings on their dogs had better what it that they're not charged with animal cruelty. I refused to let my children have pieced ears, until they were hitting their teens and could make an informed choice. Each to their own, but piecing dogs is a no no imo. | |

| Honestly I dont see anything different than piercing such as stuffing a dog in a purse, putting clothes on or putting a topknot in all things we do everyday. I llet my Daughter get her ears pierced at nine and all of her friends already had their ears pierced. I dont see anything with someone getting a babys ears pierced either I didnt do it but I dont judge those who do

| I guess I lean toward the natural side of things. I never put clothing on a dog before I got Gracie. She gets cold easily so I got her things to help keep her warm and I have to admit I did get her a couple of cute dresses but I feel really bad for some of these dogs that are being used as fashion statements for their owners. Piercing a dog for the owners enjoyment to me is just crazy. The dog has no desire to have holes punched in it or to wear body rings and earrings! That just shows the selfish detached attitude of the owner. I don't like the idea of turning them strange combination of different colors either. Obviously the dog does not want it but the owner gets a kick out of humiliating their dog. I consider myself and advocate for animals. I suppose I am over the edge on protecting them. I would do anything to help an animal or to make my own pets more comfortable. I find some of the things people do to their pets just disrespectful to the animal. |
