| ![]() Uni doesn't get a special Thanksgiving dinner sadly. We don't cool for Thanksgiving, we go our for Chinese food. No way Uni can have any of that! Just remember if anyone is giving turkey from the "people" turkey, make sure no skin or fat! Thanksgiving is one of the top times pets go to the vet bc of eating fatty foods like turkey skin and gravy.

| ![]() I would only give turkey to Gracie if it is not injected with the various things that some Thanksgiving turkeys are. Most meat that humans eat has been injected at some time during it's lifetime with antibiotics, steroids and hormones. Many Thanksgiving turkeys are additionally injected with various substances to make the meat seem tender and juicy. It may be OK in a small amount for one day but I don't give it to Gracie. She loves the raw food she is usually on and I do make her a meal or two a week from a combination of meat and veggies. I always use all natural meat and organic vegetables. She is one healthy dog and loving it. |
