It's 14°F this morning And I still have to chase Joel to get his coat on. Either he loves the cold or he's not as smart as I thought he is.

Yesterday it was -9 C so I feel your pain. I still have some bulbs I need to plant too. Our puppy is too small for her XS sweater and she can only go in reverse in it, so the poor little thing is shivering by the time she's done peeing.

You have to try to out think these little ones. Don't pick up the sweater until after you have him in your hands! They watch our every move. Sunday I was getting things ready for Gracie's bath and noticed my little shadow was no where to be found. She had gone into the bedroom, got up on the bed and was laying behind a pillow. I don't know if she thought I would just not give her a bath because she was sleeping or what! She usually just curls up nearby where ever I am.

| Ouch! We just got the beginnings of our cool front in D/FW and it feels GOOD. It's been in the 80's & humid lately and it is going down to 48 degrees tonight in Dallas supposedly tonight! That's about low enough for now but 14 degrees is terrible!!! I am usually bundled up to the ears and cocooning in weather like that and I've only been in weather that cold very rarely!!! Wow. What is the lowest temp ya'll get when it really gets cold?

We have had it go down as low as -18 degrees F. That is rare though. We usually get a couple of weeks of sub zero weather in the winter. I don't take Gracie out it that no matter how warm it gets. Now they are predicting "the perfect storm" to hit the area sometime next week. I hope they are wrong. It could do terrible damage in an area that involves millions of people.
