I'm so sorry that this world has come to this. I am so happy Jaeger listened to Mommy in that situation and he is okay.

Between this incident with Jaeger and the incident with Yazmin, I'm sold even more on the buddy belt! Everyone should have one!

OMG, what is this world coming to? What kind of child tries to steal a dog right from the owner like that? If that child is that bold at a young age, what will she do as a teenager? How about as an adult?

You are a calmer person than I would have been...little brat!!!She knew exactly what she was doing....urghhh!!! I would have been livid!!! PD would have been called and I would have spoken to the girls parents, although they probably wouldn't have cared. I've raised three kids, they would never have even thought to do something like that....heck they knew not to speak to strangers at that!! Cute puppy or not...what's happened to the world we live in? Now I have to think twice about taking my babies anywhere, I really don't want to spend the night in jail cuz I beat someone down for trying to take my babies....sorry folks I know ME very well...I have a very nasty temper when it comes to my kids...skin or fur!!
Stuff like this makes me soooo angry, the First post I read was Yasmin and now you...DAG!!!!

THAT is scary! I don't let anyone touch Gracie unless I am holding her. It's a good thing your dog was big enough to pull himself away from her.

As for the girl......so many kids today have learning disorders of various types. You can't assume that a kid is totally innocent anymore. Many have never been taught any boundaries and come from some really messed up homes. I hope you wrap your leash around your hand a few times when you go out from now on. It's a strange world out there!

Good grief! Stealing dogs...and a child at that! It just never ends, does it? I am glad everything turned out okay. What a dreadful situation...hugs.

Your story left me speechless! I am just so glad that Jaeger is so well trained and large enough that he was able to pull away when he was called.

Wow. I can not believe this. A young girl stealing from a disabled person. I would have called the police. You were a nice person. But the girl probably did not learn the lesson. She will try it again with someone else. Sad. I am so glad you and your pup are ok. hugs
