| Shots... Can puppies be sore after their rabies shots? Amirah got hers yesterday and now acts sore when I touch her side. I just want to know if this is typical. |

| Emy had hers in her neck on the 28th of October and had a lump there until just this week, I noticed its almost gone...The shot didn't seem to bother her at all though, I was a little upset when I felt that lump, was worried it would never go away...but I started to massage her neck every day lightly.... |

| Yes, it most certainly can be sore and painful at the injection site. When mine get their shot I always massage the area very gently and that seems to help.

| Bentley was always really sore and lethargic after all of his shots.. The vet I used to take him to would always tell me to give him some baby aspirin (but now my new vet says not to do that, and to give children's benadryl.) My doxiepoo, however, never has any problems at all. I think yorkies are just drama queens & kings.
