I'm starting to think yorkies don't think like dogs..more like cats/humans. Mine absolutely knows what "come" means but she sure ain't gonna do it unless she feels like it. LOL

Guinness and I are not on speaking terms today since even after playing tag and fetch last night before bed time he still felt the need to wake us on the hour every hour barking and growling then of course we have to do the walk through the house for whatever mystery object is causing this issue THEN outside to walk around the yard to only decide to growl at the moon... Every single hour!!! Of course when I go to leave for work he is crueled up in a ball snoring on my pillow.

I did have him potty pad trained so now that just means anything that is the size of a square is where you potty even if it is the mat outside the door OR he will bark or ring the bell to go out then come inside to poo on the door mat inside. Oh did I mention he must not have liked the carpet in our bedroom because he decided to make a HUGE yarn ball, can't really say I blame him because it was ugly BUT we rent this house. And to be honest I really am not sure he knows his name because he never comes when called.
I am at my wits end but love my brat to death so I just deal with it and keep telling myself he will outgrown it... Right?? I hope LOL

OMG.......he is TOO cute!!!! Thank you so much for the pictures. I think he sounds like a wonderful little guy..............and he is adorable. Very full of character and mischief.

Welcome to YT and big Guiness is darling! He's done an excellent job training you and dh and causing general mischief! That officially makes him a Yorkie, whatever his size!

Your little boy sounds like such a hoot and he looks adorable. I brought my daughter in to show her the pix and now she is hooked on hearing about his antics, too!

He should write a blog. He's too cute!

I posted this in pictures but I will add it in here... if you walk into whatever room he is in and he freezes in this pose you know to either start looking for what wall he ate, or panties he has hidden or god forbid what else he might have done LOL

And since it appears a lot of people love to hear my brat's antics I will give you another one he is famous for lol Now keep in mine you CAN NOT take a shower alone in my house he will join you every time BUT if it is raining outside you can not force this dog out the door sooo one day I noticed my Roomba vacuum had turned on by it's self on a nonprogramed day which was odd but didnt think too much of it till I noticed brown strips on my white tile floor.... somebody had figured out what button to push to turn it on so he would poop on the floor in front of it then turn it on to pick up the mess which of course since it is soft makes a HUGE mess. So far he has done this twice while my dad was keeping him and 4 times at my house!!

Maybe you could get someone else to walk him? Dogs like this have such active minds and so much energy. The walk really takes care of so many issues.
I have to admit that even though I have some physical limitations over all I feel much better when we get our 2 walks a day. Gracie is so much better behaved when she gets to explore and use up some of that mischievous energy.

He is smart and clever! My daughter calls him an evil genius, but she means "evil" in the most endearing way!
