Join the fight against tainted jerky treats!

Click the link below for more information- Basically it is a plan on Black Friday to Protest at Walmarts Against China Made Jerky Treats

Okay, i'll go look at it there...Thought maybe Walmart was messing with the link...LOL! I have an active imagination, but you Never know what a large company will do to keep Black Friday sales up. :D

Its obviously Walmart doesn't care- You would think people would stop buying these treats so Walmart takes them off the shelf!!

I would try to Educate the public about the treats- you might get further.

There is high new coverage of Black Friday. Hopefully, someone will get on the news to get the word out in addition to telling people in person! My parents were both interviewed by different news sources but it never got printed or made the news. I would imagine people picketing all over the place will draw some kind of attention.

I do educate everyday about these horrible treats.

My Zoey was killed with kindness. I just wish someone had told me before I ever feed them to my little angel.

Yes, I got the same link from The Truth About Pet Foods also. It's a great site for information about dog foods. Good idea to try to get the current situation more out into the public eye.

Hopefully it gets out there, and the black Friday thing goes out with a bang!- That is just horrible. I just wish people would stop buying the darn things… That would stop it all right there- It is very sad-

I heard about your sweet angel Zoey. I know your heart still hurts for her- I am sad that you had to go through something like that. You do so much work to try to stop other people from going through the same thing you did, I know your precious angel is still alive in your heart- It shows how pro-active you are.

My dream is that these companies stop making the poisonous products and recognize that what have done is wrong. Really all I want is for them to admit they killed my dog.

I have not taken part in any lawsuits against them nor do I plan to because money will never bring my Zoey back! If I ever do get money from this company I will immediately donate it to a rescue in Zoey's honor- I don't want their blood money.

You don't have to shop at Walmart to join in the protest. You don't even have to go inside. This jerky issue is only one part of the many problems we are facing with the pet food industry. Making people aware that there even is an issue is important.

As I mentioned this has nothing to do with shopping at Walmart. It is about getting pet owners informed about the danger of these jerky treats that are killing dogs. They would also like Walmart and other stores to stop selling the things. Many people are making up flyers to give to people or put on car windows.

I think I read here on YT that someone had made up stickers that they stick on the bags of treats in the store. I'm not suggesting that but it does sound like an effective warning to pet owners.

I definately wouldn't go in and do anything, could get you in hot water.

Putting stickers on the bags is asking for trouble...here its against a city for ordance to put fliers on cars so check your local ordinances.

Best thing to do is offer a handout ppl choose to take or not.

I actually gave the information to one of Buster's Yorkie friends. The Mom told me how Roxy loved her Waggin Tail treats. They had not heard about the recall. :(

I was reading an article that stated that they think that the making of these treats is so inconsistent that some batches are worse than others. They have examined many different packages and found nothing. It is possible that it is just every few bathes that comes out of their factory that are toxic. The Chinese refuse to let inspectors into the facility when they went to do an on site investigation.

Another big problem w/the chicken jerky treats is that the dogs get addicted to them. They refuse their reg food, so they're not getting a balanced diet, which can lead to other health problems. Major chain stores needs to stop selling it!

Went to Walmart over the weekend to see what it's all about, got dirty looks from Derik and 2 employees for stopping on the pet treat isle...first isle facing checkouts!!!! and talking 4 people out of buying dog treats.

My son was a lil annoyed about me telling people Milo's kitchen was no good...then I explained it to him...he said they need to take his name off it his kitchen shouldn't make dogs sick!
