Thinking of Zoey. |

I miss her everyday but I will never forget her. I just hope others like myself and others on her will continue educating others on these toxic treats. |
An FYI, WSB TV (the ABC station) in Atlanta is running a promo for a report they are doing Monday about the toxic dogs treats. The reporter is Mike Strickland, I just sent him an email about the Black Friday Boycott. If anyone else wants to do so the website is www.WSBTV.com |

New news story about these tainted death traps. Pet owners wage campaign against Chinese pet treats | www.wsbtv.com I found someone in Washington who is now doing testing on their own dime who is requesting samples and health records from those affected by these treats. Will keep you updated on what they find if anything! Zoey will never be gotten! |

Yes treats are not necessary but what has that to do will allowing tainted food products to be sold whether it be pet food or people food. What is wrong is that many people who are not advocates for their Dogs may not be aware of the dangers. They recall other items based on the potential for harm why not these. |

I wish the FDA would get off their butts and do the right thing |

Nestle just had a recall of Nesquick for Possible Salmonella! How does that get into that!? No illness yet they recalled it but hundreds if not thousands of complaints from pet owners and they do nothing  As long as people keep buying from this company they will continue to sell these horrid treats!:thumbdown Nestle recalls Nesquik due to salmonella risk: Associated Press Business News - MSN Money |
I think we live in a world where we are really isolated about what goes on in the food industry as well as many other important issues. Human food is not what it used to be and now our animal foods have become very poor quality. Most people are completely unaware because they think someone is watching out for their pets and those nice friendly labels must mean that someone nice is making the products. There is no regulation in the pet food and pet treat industry. They do not have to list all ingredients, they are self regulated. Meaning they will tell you something if they think it is to their advantage. |

Let alone the packaging processing of foods, addatives and handling. I'm big on the food issue. I already boycott China, but really when their reps told our inspectors to stick it and take a hike, I can't understand why we aren't all in uproar. No more Dogswell Mellow Mut for us! Its organic free ranging etc but since its now made in China....who freaking knows what it really is??? My dogs lives are worth more than a bag of treats, others should see it that way too! |

Once in a while a local reporter may bring the issue to the forefront but then there is push back from the industry and it all goes away again. People are slowly starting to put 2 and 2 together with the China deal. Everything we buy is stamped "made in China" and yet unemployment is ramped. Younger people do not even know what our stores looked like 20 and 30 years ago. We had a better selection of better quality and innovative goods. Now shelves are stacked with junk. |

[QUOTE=gracielove;4052786]I hate to say it but our media is very controlled about what information they give to the public. You really have to dig to get to the bottom of things like the food industry. In the mean time people and pets are eating substances that were never intended to be ingested by humans or animals. I used to give Rosco the Waggin Train treats:eek: until a while ago when I started reading it on YT. Thank goodness he never got sick, and I also make sure my brother doesn't get them for his dog :) |
Bump Bump Keep educating others! |

Thanks for the info. Going to check out our local Walmart ahead of time to see what they sell. Also, did they pull all of these chicken jerky treats off of the shelves of all Petsmarts? |

Wow I just read at the Walmart near me a woman used pepper spray on the crowds last Black Friday so they are going to have heightened security. I can't believe it is just a week away! |
Wow I was shocked to discover that my local CVS carries multiple versions of Waggin Train chicken Jerky treats. I spoke with the cashier and she said was surprised to hear of dogs dying from these products. She told me I would have to contact the corperate office and I will! I was wondering which links would be best to include in my email as I want to make them realize how dangerous these products are! |
