| I have a question about food that I haven't seen asked here yet. Good evening YTers. I am feeding Maxximus and Shanti Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Salmon. I was wondering if they could have other flavors of Natural Balance or would that equal changing food like changing brands. I was thinking about Sweet Potato and Duck or Venison or does it make no sense to switch when they eat this just fine? I have been wondering about this and I even called vet but the tech I talked to didn't give me a clear understanding. I felt like she didn't get what I meant. Let me know what you think

| Rotation feeding... I think it's great. Gives variety. Jackson definitely likes certain flavors over others. And if you're switching within the same brand, it's an easy transition! Fromm encourages people to do this... the 4-star line of theirs is all made essentially the same but with different protein sources, so you can easily switch between flavors.

| My girls eat all the Natural Balance grain free flavors, canned and dry. We've never had an issue here. I think it keeps them from getting too bored We tried some Taste of the Wild canned and while they loved it, their poo was so stinky and too soft on that. So we will stick with the NB.

| good question, I always wondered if I am I crazy because i mix it up but all at the same time. I combine in one bowl B. blue; fish and sweet potato with Life's Abundance chicken based food. she seems to eat both equally from the bowl so i feel good that she is getting both chicken and fish. when you say grain free, is that food sort of a wet slurry, if so boy did my friend's dog have the worst runny poop and awful gas, she switched to BB and does not have that trouble

| I swap Fromm around but both mine have stinky breath. The vet says teeth look good but wonder if the food could cause bad breath. They both are doing great on it? |

| I switch around Lexie's food all the time. She get a mix of Weruva human grade chicken, Health Extension Little Bites kibble and what I change up is the 3rd ingredient. I feed her several different grain free Canidae foods with that mix. So her food changes slightly about once a week. She loves it & hasn't had any issues.

| The only issue I've had on switching flavors was an intollerance for the ingredients, like none of mine did well on red meat so we stopped rotating lamb in, its not the same as going from say a rice based formula in one brand to a nongrain in another brand and switching proteins. However when I switched from Innova puppy to innova small bites red meat....it caused upset the formulas were too different.

Yup, I agree. Unless there is a specific ingredient/protein intolerance, rotation can be great!

| I don't use Natural Balance but I do buy several different kinds of the brand I do use. No problem. Dogs should have a variety of different protein sources. |
