Like some of the others I would do it. But, I have been doing that for years fostering and rehoming Yorkies.
With you it is different, you want to add to your family. Charlie is cute as can be and looks pretty young. I think this might work out fine. Let us know how it goes.

This is from a person who has one rescue, decided that she would be happier with a sister and than drove to Tennessee to get another rescue!!
They are such a blessing!!
All 3 of mine play and love each other!!
When you are sad, being around them makes you feel better so much faster!!
Plus.....they can tell each other secrets!!

I'm with KJC, I never thought I'd get another because Teegy was so happy, but I knew in my heart he needed a pal and all the excuses I could find just didn't hold water, so I caved.
Now Teegy doesn't get any peace at all as he now has a wrestling partner and they loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove each other to bits. Was a few bumps in the beginning, I was getting that "he can go back to where he came from look" from Teegy for about a week.

We had one (also a Charlie) for a blessed 17 years and my one and only regret is that he didn't have a playmate. So, this summer, we got TWO

Don't regret it for a minute! Best decision we could make. (Ours are littermates.) Good luck to you!
