I think their tummy still gets empty overnight whether you are planning on sleeping late or not. Dogs are usually pretty well habituated and like to depend on their routine things so they can feel stable & secure. I found that when Tibbe comes & looks at me after eating, he's expecting a treat - he wants to be rewarded for something good he did. So I started treating him after mealtime just like when he does other good things. I satisfies him and he goes on about his business after eating. I treat him for all the good things he does so I guess eating is so good I guess it just seemed natural for him to expect a treat in his mind I guess, since he thinks eating is about as good as it gets.

I agree your dog likes the smell of the pee pads more than that shampoo smell after a bath and is trying to smell "dog" again.

Noooi. I should put it in my bedroom though...

It maybe my dirty lil Pier One Imports buy but it's cream and brown (looks black abd white at first glance) buts my ONLY adult unkid/dog friendly just for me reading wing back.

I scotch guarded it with no less than 5 cans...no candles near it lol.

Derik says I should have gotten a leather one, true but it made it justification to my persobal spot...which the kids and dogs use more than I ever have!

Thankfully I have a bissell lil green machine lol.

All my dogs like to roll on something after a bath, even though i blow dry them. Give them each a dry towel after you bathe them, mine just love it and never roll on their pee pads. Now if they go out side right after a bath they will roll on the grass. So i keep them in a few hour's. I free feed mine have since they were puppies so they have food when ever they want it. And plus they have their piddle pads, so they can go potty any time they need to. But they stay in bed with me most of the time til I get up. If they do get up for something they will come back to bed with in 5 minutes. Makes my life much easier. I have always free fed all of my dogs, Big or small. My sister feeds hers on a schedule so any time they get near food they will scarf it down. mine don't I can take them to some elses house if they free feed mine do not bother their food. My sister if she brings her's to my house will scarf down any food in the bowls and look for more. So i'm happy with what I am doing with my fur butts.
