| Puppy has a bump? So I was petting Bentley last night like I always do. I hold him all the time, and I noticed this bump on his back near his tail. It's kind of hard and squishy, but more hard. Now I know because he's in my arms all the time that this wasn't here a week ago. Will be taking to the vet soon, any thoughts? He's only 19 weeks so I can't imagine it would be a cancerous tumor, would it?

| My Ziva has a tendency to get occassional bumps on her rear flank- right side only. The vet said sebaceous cysts- he was nice enough(as in free) to clean out the latest one near her tail that wouldn't come to a head. It was yucky but healed right up. She is three and I haven't been able to figure what causes them. |

| I would just ask your vet... Some dogs just get bumps and they aren't anything. Just have you vet look at it to ease your mind

| Had he just had shots? Sometimes it's a reaction, which would be very common. Max got a marble shaped bump a few days after getting one of his vaccinations.
