I bought a stroller for Roxy and I take her to the mall and no one has ever said anything to me. I know not to take her in places like Walmart and Target because they sell food. The stroller is so awesome because most don't even realize she's in there!:teeth:

never ever take my dogs anywhere they aren't welcome I would never tie them up outside

I would never leave my dogs tied up outside. Never Never Never. God knows what could happen to them. I realize some places don't allow pets and if I had to go into one of these places my dogs stay at home. I hate people who tie their dogs outside. It's just as bad as those jerks who lock them up in their cars when it's 100 degrees outside. Stupid Stupid Stupid.

Cesar gets to come to Petsmart and Petco and that's it. As far as I know, the definitive rule is no dogs allowed, unless stated otherwise like Petco and Petsmart.

I see Yorkies at the store all the time, and twice at two different locations I saw a guy with his dog in a restaurant. Once inside a restaurant in Somerset mall in Troy, forgot the name, and again at Kona Grill in Troy, MI. Mind you these are very nice restaurants. It wasn't a Yorkie, but appeared to be perhaps a Schnauzer.

If I have shopping to do, he can stay at home. If I am going out and about and think I may stop at a store, he will also stay home. Tying a yorkie up outside will almost always result in theft I would assume. These are expensive dogs and are so small that they are easier targets.

There is no store important enough to me that I would leave my dog outside. If I am going shopping I usually leave Gracie home. I only take her places I know she will be welcome.

Hi am in the uk and have been asked twice to leave a shop even though sammy was in my arms needless to say i wont be going back there, i have tied my older dog a german shepherd x lab outside of the shops when he was alive but would never tie sammy up he wouldnt be there when i got out :animal-pa

Today, Pepper (in his bag) was refused entry to a Camping Store. I told them to cancel my layby and left.

If you don't sell fresh produce it shouldn't be an issue. Good for you.
I see people dirtier than my dogs in shops but ye cannae kick them oot

I don't really take Geno out and about with me. Mia is too bad right now to take out in public lol Geno has gone to petsmart and petco with me and hates going in those stores. It scares him. I did run into Rite Aid to pick up something really quick with Geno in my arms and they didn't mind. I was in and out in about 3 mins anyways.

Believe it or not there are people in this world that aren't dog people! Even when they are little.

I don't typically leave Troy unattended, unless I have my car and even then I'm cautious because someone can break my window to steal him.

I think as dog owners, we need to be courteous to others in public. Knowing health regulations, knowing what stores you can and cannot take your dog, knowing that you have to pick up poop.

:thumbup::thumbup: I agree. But i can see how if the pup is in a carrier and not in a food store...let it slide but alot of ppl "hate" dogs:thumbdown:thumbdown:eek:

What if the one sales person is allergic...its not fair to impose that on them.

I wish we could regulate the amount of perfume some ppl wear...I get an allergy attack a mile away from some ppl.

I so agree with that and when they dump the whole bottle on and then go to the doctors office it's like are you crazy people come in here with breathing problems and you make them worse.

Mine go with me on the occasional Lowes or Home Depot trip or any long road trips. Other than that, they stay in the comfort of their own home. I would never leave them tied up anywhere and will not leave them in the car either.
