| update Well just an update on my pups....Zeta left for her new family on Saturday....we dropped her off and got to see where she would be living.....i'm not to thrilled about it....they had stuff (crafting stuff) all over the floor....so I did alot of reminding that she chews on EVERYTHING and they assured me she would be well watched (hhhmmmmm...obviously never had a puppy befor) and they did call last night and left a message (I wouldn't answer the phone cause I'm still blubbering like a baby over missing her) and they said she is doing great. I took Bailey and Lizzie to the vet tonight for the second round of shots and the vet said Lizzie is doing great with the cleft pallatte and weighs 2.9lbs and we need to check into doing surgery on her mouth soon...it scares me to death but I will do what I have to do....and Bailey will be going to his new home on Christmas eve day (it will be a sad x-mas for us) and he weighs 5.0lbs at 3 months......my oh my he is going to be a big one...he has the biggest ears...i think each one weighs a pound each.... but he is such a great pup...all potty trained on pee pads and we are working on going outside.....well thats my update....sorry its so long....but thanks for reading....hopefully will be posting pics soon.... |

| Aw, sorry you're sad and missing Zeta, but just think of all the families you're making happy with their little pups..for Christmas! That's a good thing ( I sound like Martha Stewart, lol)

| I was wondering how it would go after she went to her new home. I don't know how you guys do it. I'd be a mess!

| I am another one who isn't so sure I could ever let go without feeling it for ages. But you have to think about how happy you are making the new families. I thank God for my breeder- she wasn't in it for the money which allowed me to get Macy. You can rejoice in that your making others very very happy with your babies.....

| It is never easy letting them go... I don't care if it is the 1st litter or your 50th one. Each pup has a way of touching our hearts even though we tell ourselves not to get attached... Yeah, Right.... You are so involved with these little ones from the time of conception to 12 weeks of age.

| When Bailey goes to his new home at Christmas I'm hoping that it won't be that hard because I have been taking him for visits to see his new "momma" at the place where she works (she will be taking him to work with her) That way I no it won't be so hard on him....thats what makes me really sad...is because they don't know what is happening to them...one minute they are safe and happy in the world they know and then the next minute they are some place else with nothing but the blanket they are sent with...so I'm hoping that he will be familiar with her and the work place....so that helps plus I will get to see him whenever I want.....now with Zeta she went to someplace that she never saw plus I really doubt I will get to see her....but I'm really going to try....maybe on Christmas eve day...because she only lives 2 miles from my parents place.....but the new owner might not let me because I put a limited registration on her and she was unaware of this (long story) but I will try but only if I can do it without crying hehehe....thank you for all your comments... Can you believe that Bailey is 5lbs at 3 months????? and Lizzy is only 2.9lbs and from the same litter???? |

| I'm sorry you are sad and missing your baby. That is really hard. I hope all goes well with your other pup's surgery. Merry Christmas to you and I hope you are joyful through your tears. |
