| Allergies My yorkies scratch a lot and have brown patches on their skin. I have been told that this is caused by allergies. Anyone found anything that helps, I use shampoo for allergies. Thanks a lot |

| There are so many threads here about allergies, each have very good answers and suggestions. One product that seems to be a real lifesaver is Healthy Goo. Most allergies are environmental, but some have food allergies. If they get secondary infections from the itching you may have to vist an allergist as after time ignoring them just causes the vet bills to go higher and higher.... My Miss Mini gets a shot every week, I pay $180 twice a year for 6 months worth, her allergies are severe, I'd put her in a plastic bubble but she'd probably be allergic to the plastic! The shots, I know sound awful but they are nothing, honestly. Amazingly, my girl has been on the shots for one year as of may...I stayed the course and regardless of what I stayed the course, there were times I didn't think it would ever work...but just like the claims..my 7 yr. old has gone the longest time ever right now without an infection....KNOCK ON WOOD. So pay attention and proceed as needed, they won't go away without some intervention...
