Oh that is a tough one, but if I had to pick only one thing that we bought KS before she came home that was the MOST useful, it would have to be her Potty Training Puppy Apartment (PTPA). I found it online and although it was a big investment, I am so glad we bought it! It made potty training such a breeze for us. She was probably 95% accident free within the first 2 weeks. Now she has been with us almost a year and she rarely has an accident. It was the best purchase! We do not buy the potty pads from them now though. We buy them at Tractor Supply. It's called 'wee wee pad' brand and you can get like 100 for $20. So the PTPA is our number 1 recommendation!

I have actually been giving this product a lot of thought, so I am happy to get some feedback from someone who has really used it.
