Skirts attached to Tshirts

What a great idea. Once the holidays are over and I get motivated again I will have to whip out my machine and give it a try. The girls look beautiful in their new dresses.

I bought the shirts in the baby department, found some pieces of material to match the shirts and cut straight pieces, pleat them and sew them to the shirts. It took about 15 minutes to make 1 dress. I used some pink ribbon on the pastel dresses and for the red ones i took an old pair of denim's that are too small for my son and cut them up

Thank you Joy your so sweet, i bought the girls a lot of these baby shirts but somehow i missed something on them it just did not look right and started playing around with them i was thrilled to see how cute they look on. There's still a lot of things i want to try out that i will start on after the holiday's

Those are adorable! I just bought a sewing machine too for the same reason you did I bought some cute little clothes at a consignment shop and plan to alter them to fit Bitsy...I love the baby gap clothes and am going to pick some of those up when they have a cheap sale and do the same thing! It sounds easy...I HOPE I can do it I've never used a sewing machine before but I'm excited to try it
