| Babies with Topknots! When? How old was your baby the first time he or she had her hair long enough for a nice top knot? George is 7 months now and almost ready for grooming his topknot stands up at the top of his head lol it needs another inch grown out. |

| Brody and Mia were over a year old when I got them, but I started them with top knots as soon as I could get one to stay in. Mia's first top knot lasted for 2 fast photos...as did Brody's. They are used to it now. I'd start as soon as possible with a young pup...even if it was only for a few minutes and work up to leaving it all day. It takes them a little getting used to it...or it seemed like it did with Brody and Mia.

| We did top knots at around 5 months. They start out tiny, but it's good to get them used to them.

| Mina was 13 weeks when I brought her home. She had a tiny topknot and I just kept putting one in every morning. I use laytex bands because they seem to stay in better. I cut them every evening to give her head a rest. |
