I've had Elvira home about 10 days and it's work - but I'm having a ball. She's a hoot! Her face is white with black tips and her back and sides are black. she has a little tan and white on her neck inside legs and tummy. She's adorable. |

I am sorry but I don't buy that especially when you look at pictures of the puppies and they are in cages. Aside from that I too am from the old school on mixed dogs unless you are trying to start a new breed which takes a long time and serious breeding (did this breeder state she is trying to start a new breed? or what? or does she just hate YT Hags :D ). There have been a couple of threads about this but for the most part I think to many dogs are put down every year that people could adopt that are mixes and are adorable. When so called breeders create these dogs another dog will die in the pound who is just as cute and just as adorable. I love the mixes and have one myself that who knows what his parentage is and yes I pulled him from the pound and also Sammy. The rest of my gang came through Rescue and some of even them would have been put down because of different issues. I could go on with this subject but I think it is best that I :zip: |
There are alot of different types of yorktese. Yorkie (Black, Tan) + Maltese (White)= yorktese (black, and white, with brown shadings. Yorkie (Silver Black) +Maltese= yorktese (will have a black back, silver and white face, chest, and legs. Yorkie {Very rare(White body, black legs, brown markings)}+ maltese= almost the same thing... except more white taking the other colors. These are the only yorktese I've seen from friends and family. I see the first one alot more then the others. My aunt has the secong one, and the yorkie-breeder I recieved my dog from had the 3rd coat. |
