| So much for frontline... So I posted about 2 weeks ago saying my dog had fleas what do I do. You all said he was old enough at 13 weeks for flea meds so I called the vet and they confirmed. I bought frontline plus and the fleas were gone. It's been a week since I applied it and he's itching again and I think I found an egg on him. I haven't been able to find any fleas because he doesn't sit long enough and he has A LOT of hair. What else can I do to keep him from getting fleas?? |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Frontline and Revolution quit working for us a few years back. Our vet and many others think fleas have become immune. We have been using Comfortis and am pleased so far.

YT 2000 Club Member | Ive used frontline plus on my animals for 3 years now without any issues. I flea treat every 3 to 4 weeks depending on how bad the fleas are. Advantage products dont work at all for us, a week after applying it my animals end up with fleas.

| frontline plus doesnt repel them so they have to bite ur baby inorder to die. LuminoPets.com Home Page Michelle used this to fully get rid of them and I have ordered some because I am having the same issue and none of the topicals I'm using are working completely for whatever reason. good luck we all seem to be in this boat this year.

| I would check with the vet about applying another product so soon. We use frontline and it works for us. Perhaps the egg you found was just lingering from before and was still stuck in the fur??? Good luck. Tracey |

| When I first applied the frontline he had eggs on him but they have all detached and have fallen off. This egg is still stuck and won't budge and it has shown up recently. I guess I'll just wait and see |

| I would suggest getting some DE to get rid of them and then switching to a different topical to keep them away. Good luck... I know how much fleas suck

Senior Yorkie Talker | Oh no! I know Jaxson will itch every once in a while but it's just an itch. I've used frontline since we got him (2 1/2 months) & we haven't had any issues with it. Could be your area & if that's the case you should try to find someone with pets around you & see what they use. Your vet should know the best information though so try & talk with him/her. Also I always research so see if you can research flea medicine that works best in the type of area your in. Good luck!! Also have you thought about a flea shampoo for pups? I have one for Jaxson that he gets once a month as well. |

YT Addict | Could it be allergies? I have been told that diet can make dogs itch as well as if they are allergic to the shampoo/conditioner being used.. Also the lady I bought Bailey from said to add fish oil to his food to help with itching. |
