Problem with Rescue - Need Advice Please

There are so many people out there that find a way to make money off of innocent animals it makes your head spin. There are some very illegitimate "rescues" out there. You really have to investigate everything these days.

There are some very good Yorkie rescues though.

I know there are good Yorkie rescues. I would much rather rescue a pup that needs a home. I was naive & didn't realize that I should probably research a rescue the same way I would research a breeder. I know I shouldn't close the doors to all rescues based on a difficult experience with one bad apple. I think that I just need some "recovery" time. I've actually been looking into fostering for a Yorkie rescue near me. I might ask LadyJane for an opinion.

I am only seeing this today and did not have time to read all of this thoroughly; but I can tell you that this was not what I would call a rescue....and certainly not what one would consider reputable.
I don't know of a yorkie rescue that would adopt a 15 week pup out (assuming this pup is intact??), never mind a sick one.
Sadly, the mills, bybers and brokers are starting to use the term "rescue" to sell their pups because of all of the negative publicity about their indiscrimate breeding. They know that many people want to rescue so they capitalize on the name.

Yes, after reading about & understanding exactly how this outfit was operating, I can see how they are in fact "brokers". So sad.

It is sad and it infuriates me that these people have the gall to call themselves rescuers but nothing that can be done about it.
