| Welcome. Silkys are awesome. You'll certainly enjoy. As for preparation, have the basics like bed, toys, some puppy food, maybe a blanket, and most anything else you want to have around. |

| Welcome Silkies are beautiful! Definitely get some Nutrical, in case your baby doesn't eat well the first few days. They do that sometimes. Hypoglycemia can be deadly but Nutracal will keep their sugar up and stimulate the appetite. There are lots of new puppy posts and some stickies at the top of the forum. Good luck with your new little one, can't wait to see pictures

| Welcome to YT. We love S.T. Some of our members have some, and some breeds them too, I think.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk! I'm sure you will find this site very helpful & informative. If you have any questions feel free to ask. One very important thing for a yorkie puppy, is that he eats. If for some reason he/she doesn't, I would call the vet. I also know that Nutrical is a good thing to have on hand. Have lots of fun with your new love.

| Thank you everyone!!! I will post some pictures when I get home later tonight. I tried to do it from my ipad but it wouldn't allow me to so I will have to do it from my laptop later. Do all of you groom your yorkies yourselves? Is there help videos on here? I am so thankful that the breeder I am getting my silky from is reputable and she has already done the ears and the feet so she will be use to being groomed by the time I get Her. I should have her by October.
