| Well, I went and looked at the list of Breeders on the website you all recommended. Living 25 miles from a big town like St. Louis, MO (I live just across the river, in IL), you'd think there would be a Yorkie breeder on their list around here fairly close, wouldn't you? But, I didn't see any! I checked Missouri, and Illinois. There are breeders, but all are pretty far away, judging by the towns and the area codes, aaarrrrggggh! Have any of you out there heard of puppytolove.com. They have some nice little Yorkies on their website, and I communicated by email with one of the gals there, and she seemed really nice. So, just wondering if any of you know anything about that site, and if they would be worthwhile investigating as far as getting a puppy through them. Thanks a lot! Darrel W. |

| I'm sorry, I looked at the list again, and there was one in Collinsville. I emailed them, but no response. But, it is a moot point now, as I located a 3.5 year old Yorkie, that is pretty much "show" quality, for $500 less than I was going to pay for a nice Yorkie puppy. And, I don't have to worry about training him. I'll start a new thread with his pic. But, thanks to all for your help! I found my new son through breeders.net. I think my nephew or perhaps another breeder turned me onto that site. I don't remember, I've been doing so much searching for another Yorkie. |

| Please look at the link I am putting in. There is an AKC Yorkshire Terrier Club near your area. Please contact them. They will be able to give you some ideas about good breeders. These are some of the best people to get good leads from. Of course you always want to check them out for yourself but this is a good start: American Kennel Club - Club Search and Directory |

. It was and is beyond devastating. I know what you mean about loving yorkies. My husband and I are getting a new little boy at the end of the month. It's not to replace, Ace, because Ace is irreplaceable. Yorkies are just such special little babies. I remember cuddling with Ace and my heart would feel warmed. I would feel the love and my heart was warmed by it. It was the best most peaceful feeling I've ever had. We need to make sure we open our hearts to our new little yorkies, too. | |
