| Personality changes? Hi all, Bowser got neutered yesterday. He is a year old tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone experienced any personality changes in their Yorkie? I have heard different things so I was wondering if you all could weigh in for me. |

| Tibbe is almost 5 years old and his neuter was done when he was about 11 months old and if he got any friskier and playful, I couldn't take it!!! No, I have seen no change in him in all this time. My last Yorkie was a female and was 6 1/2 years when spayed and she was no different following her spay. My son's American Bulldog may be somewhat less dominent/aggressive than he was when neutered at about 1 year but that could be from his intense behavior modification training.

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | I have always gotten my dogs done at 6 months of age. That way the females don't go into heat and the males usually don't lift their leg. Zachary will be 6 months August 7 and will be neutered on August 8. Louise |
