Will have to try detangler - any suggestions? (Using the Earthbaby Puppy shampoo - smells good, but so far, just an okay shampoo) Thanks for any suggestions. Appreciate it

| I use Yorkie Splash and Shine shampoo/conditioner/detangler. Works great. There's a 10% discount (I think ) for YT members but I don't know how to get it.You really should invest in a pin brush & metal comb. If you search on this site, you'll find suggested products. I always have a hard time searching on here so I just do a google search, like "yorkie brush" and it leads to a thread on here. I purchased the pin brush from Chris Christensen (there are less $$ brands) and the metal comb I found in the Pet Supplies section of Amazon. There are 7" & 4" combs. I got both but I think the 7" works fine. The comb has both close together teeth on one side and spaced out teeth on the other. You'd be surprised how well the comb gets behind the tangles (after you applied detangler) and goes through them without hurting your pup! Good luck. Tracey |
