| I started home grooming when my first visit to the groomers left Molly with a spiky face. I thought I could do at least as good a job as that. Mine don't mind their legs or paw pads but hate me doing their nails. I wish I could do them though cause I took them to the vet for this and she cut the quick! Bought a grinder but they are still not keen. I'm trying to walk them daily on Tarmac (blacktop) to hopefully keep them down.

Yes the feet and legs are still a problom As far as the grooming table... I have been looking at them actually. I did set up a table for his grooming and when I need to. I put his leash on him to hold him there when I need to. But over all he's pretty good. It's just those darn legs. Believe me, I'd rather take him to get it done. It's so much more convenient. but I am trying to budget here for now and that alone saves a lot of money. Two groomer visits pays for the clippers alone. Plus that, it's teaching him to cooperate with me, so that's not so bad either. | |
