| ![]() Ime if you have multiple dog. The pup can learn from the older dogs which can make training easy. But 2 pups at once they need to be trained separately. They are more worried about what the oher pup is doing or getting. Socialize the pup so it will accept a new one easier. JME |

| ![]() I had Rosie as an only pup until she was four. I then added Mikki who was a year old. There is there only one thing sweeter than having one yorkie, it's having two. I love watching them play. I love hearing their nails on my wood floor as they run through the house together. I love seeing them together. Not all experiences of having two are bad at all. Have you thought of getting a little older dog to go with your puppy? Maybe that would help with only having one to train. I will sum up with this, adding my second yorkie was a great decision for us. Mikki completed our family. ![]()

| ![]() Keep in mind too that one puppy can be very diffrent from the other. My first puppy took to potty training right away was well behaved and got into very little mischief where as my the second puppy has put me through the ringer eating things(including poo), taking forever to potty train, being mouthy, barking, and being very mischievious. I love them both but looking back on it if I would have known I probably would have not done the puppy thing again. Something to think about

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I've just recently added my second one and they are only a month apart and are still really young its been nothing but a blast my two girls play all day and cuddle together for naps its a pain potty training wise especially sense my older girl was doing so well and she's incredibly smart but the youngest is more shy and slower at learning. But either way its a lot of fun !! I say go for it if your willing to deal with double the love and double the trouble ![]()

| ![]() Tibbe's vet bills have topped $3,000.00 so far this year with a bout of pneumonia and a GI episode, plus his monthly wellness premium, which includes office visits, dentals, 2 complete labs and vaccinations/boosters, etc. - and Tibbe is a normally very, very healthy dog. Still I would have a second if I could physically manage it but as it is, my one single dog keeps me so busy and involved I can't manage another right now but hope someday I will be able. Tibbe loves all dogs and would have an absolute ball with a brother or sister!!! I'd love it, too!
