| play pen - which kind? I am trying to find a play pen that can also be used to gate doors and I am not sure which one is better. Most of them have also horizontal bars which I don't want because he can use them to climb out... I found this on amazon: Amazon.com: North States Superyard 3 in 1 Metal... but I am not sure if the space between the bars isn't too big so he can stick his head between them. He is 12 weeks old right now and the space between the bars is 2.25 inches. Is this ok? Or does anyone have other suggestions? |

| Mina was 13 weeks old when she came to us. I first used a Pac n Play or her crate. As she got older I began using an EXPen,purchased at Petsmart. I also have used babygates, but only if I am home. |

| I've just started looking for playpens too as we are getting a little one within the next few weeks! So excited and can't wait! I haven't quite decided on which one to get either.

| This is what we have. I took one of the panels apart and actually use the wall as part of the pen now. I like this because I can make it longer and put it across my deck when were outside also. Hubby order this online so I'm not sure where he got it from but I've seen this at dog.com or amazon. It folds up easily too if you travel. This panels on this one is 2' x 2' and there are 8 panels. They have taller ones. I believe they are 36" and a 48" tall but I'm not totally sure. Fortunately I've not had any problems with climbers.
