| ![]() He looks so cute sitting there smiling at you. Ears are especially sensitive. I scissor them also. I wait until she is taking a nap on my lap and start snipping. The face was more of a battle. I don't do her face anymore. It is all grown out. When I use to trim the corner of her eyes with the scissors I would get her to sit on someone's lap and hold her chin hair very firmly so she could not turn her head. I used small round tipped scissors but you can't be too careful in that area. With the hair cut your guy has I would thing that using the clippers right on top of his nose up to above his eyes would work great. |

I made a few boo boo's and ended up clipping my oscar all over but i must say he looks really cute. I love it. Your little one pretty good. It just takes some practice. I bought myself a yorkie grooming dvd to use next time. I think you did a great job.. Before and after pics of my oscar... Last edited by MY OSCAR; 07-08-2012 at 04:17 AM. | |

| ![]() You did fine. It will get easier for both of you as time goes by. Try to sit down with him in a day or two and work on his ears, since you wanted to do that. You might want to do his feet one time, his ears another, his face the next time, and then his body. As someone above said, they do get tired easily and it is easier on both of you not to try to do too much at one time.
