![]() thanks for all the advice everyone, i started off walking her in my arms when she was a baby, and she has been taken to other places for walks and met other dogs, i think though i will have to change it up more often, she is terrified of the gabage truck i think it traumatized her on a walk when she was younger so maybe thats it? lol then there was that time an atv scared her and her leash broke and a nice stranger jumped out of her car and chased her in the ditch so i think shes scared of walks, but ill deff try some of these suggestions and keep it up and change the route more often and go at quieter times in the day, thanks eveyone ![]() ![]()

![]() Sounds like she has had enough traumatic experiences to make her fearful out there on a walk! No wonder she is in such a hurry! I think you need to go back to carrying her at times when there are no loud noises or dangerous situations going on. She is scared and I guess I can understand why after what she has been through out there.

![]() I started walking my Zoe 3 days after I brought her home at 12 weeks. She loves her walks, but since it has gotten so hot we haven't walked and I know she is missing it. You might try putting her harness on and just walking her around your house first. Let her get totally used to the lead. Once she has that take her outside to a quit place and just walk her around, maybe even just in your yard, then gradually increase it to the sidewalk. But if it's as hot there as it has been here I would not take her out on the hot cement. It could burn her little feet. My Zoe actually walks about 3 miles every day when it's cooler
