| July 4th festivities - Poor Brandi Hope everyone had a nice 4th of July. I had a good time. I had a get together with most of my family members and of course I stressed to everyone not to feed Brandi any people food not matter how pitiful she looked. Everyone complied but she still managed to get a hold of some food. There's no doubt she found some food someone dropped on the floor and of course I woke up to the biggest pile of undigested hamburger. Poor baby....she's okay. Thank goodness it wasn't chocolate. Other than that, she did quite well with a house full of people. I didn't have to worry about keeping track of her as she pretty much stuck to my side and she even managed to get in a nap even with all of the comotion. I thought I was going to have to crate her but other than the occassional begging for food. She did very well. |

| Ugh I know how you feel. During new year's, my uncle gave my yorkie pork and I'm like noooooo but Geno already snatched it. He ended up having a belly ache the whole next day but after that, he was fine. I hate when they aren't feeling well.

| I hate when they are feeling bad. Brandi has a sensitive stomach so I am extra careful about what she eats and how much she eats. Of course Brandi hates the food restrictions as she is a vaccum cleaner when it comes to food. |

| I am so happy everything went well and you all had a great time! .....sometimes adults can get absent minded when they are not used to having dogs around...I crate everyone, just to be sure no one gets tired of going thru all the baby gates I have up, and either removes them or leaves them open...then goes out a door and leaves it ajar, for one of my babies to hit the streets running. I have a litter of puppies on the ground now, so the house is off limits for everyone....but we did hot dogs, hamburgers, and I baked some of those cupcakes for dogs that I got the recipe from here I believe...everyone got a cupcake....except momma Steeley, she got some salmon, which she would give ANY of her kids up for!!! As the night came on, and people started with the fireworks, my group went nuts....very frightened of fireworks....they actually try to crawl UNDER my skin, trying to get as close to me and hide as they possibly can! I finally just took everyone and we went to bed, where they all hid under the covers....no upset tummies from sneaked food! |

| my guys do NOT like the fireworks. Our neighborhood had a few going off so they were stuck to me like white on rice We had company and they were going in and out the back sliding doors. We have our back yard fenced but I still put leashes on .. just in case we had a "runner" and it would make it easier to catch them.

| ahhh sounds like things went well considering, hope her tummy feels better now that she got ride of the bad stuff. I was very lucky with Lola, we had 4 guests stay with us since Friday night, which she loved like crazy because there was always someone she could get to toss one of her toys, she even went out with us in the boat on Sat. night to view the fireworks they have on our lake and besides the main show it seemed like everyone and their brother had something they wanted shoot off. Last night the noise was all around us and she slept on the couch next to my husband. She is dragging today though
