| Mirrors I was wondering if all dogs/Yorkies don't recognize themselves in mirrors.. my Yorkie, Tinkerbell, she is extremely scared of her reflection. And then she runs around to the back of the mirror, and when she sees nothing.. Just curious. She's always been puzzled about "the dog" |

| My Maltese, Lily, always barks at herself in the mirror. My Yorkie, Ella, doesn't seem to mind the mirror at all, but i'm not sure if she recognizes herself or not? |

| Tibbe barks at himself after a while. At first he's just very curious but in just a bit, he's barking & jumping up on the mirror.

| Ziggy does this sometimes (at 14 months old) But really not that much at all. He did it alot as a puppy, now he just ignores the "other" puppy!lol

| I think many dogs do this! Especially puppies! Toki will bark at herself in the mirror and run back and forth. Even seeing her reflection in a dark laptop screen or in a window at night sets her off! |

| As it starts to get dark, Tibbe looks out the big den window and it reflect the big TV in it. He gets so excited & starts barking madly, trying to get out the window to all that stuff I guess he thinks is going on in his back yard, which he normally see out the den window. But after dark, until I pull the blind down or close the curtain, Tibbe can watch TV in the window & bark!

| We have long mirrors in our kitchen and that happened to be where Callie's food dish and water are and she seems to know its her in the mirror and she will watch her self eat sometimes and it cracks me up.

Harry doesn't give a hoot about 'small' mirrors - but when he spots himself in the floor length mirror he goes up to it, and gives it a little lick...all gently...everybody say aaaaah!!! Sally + Harry x | |
