| Does your Yorkie do the shake? Elvis never shakes during a bath or after, you know that classic dog shake that fluffs them and sprays everything in a 360 degree wet splatter. My mini schnauzer and my schnorkie do, but not once has Elvis ever. Today they all ran from the sprinkler not through (I have water wimps) but when I switched the angle of the rotating water fall sprinkler they weren't paying attention and all three got drizzled on...two shook and Elvis just ran in the house straight to the kennle rolled on the beds and returned to my feet to glare up at me. Is shaking not a yorkie thing or is it another I'm not a dog thing Elvis does...well doesn't do?

| I think it might be an Elvis thing.... Harry does the shake during and after his bath - or if he goes out to pee pee in the rain - or shortly after I've brushed and arranged his beautiful hair... - or to sort himself out after he's had the zoomies. He then looks even 'wilder' than pre-shake!!! Sally + Harry x |

| Ugh! Gracie loves to shock me with a big wet shake right during the bath! She doesn't do the rolling thing any more because I don't let her down until I am totally done combing her and blowing her dry. |

| Your Elvis is unique, all my Yorkies shake, some much more than others. Maybe you should play music for him like, shake rattle and roll, shake your booty, or put your left paw in and shake it all about............ just joking about the music

| My guys both do the shake..during and after baths and all the time during the day. Especially after they wake up from a nap or if they have just been brushed

| Both mine are shakers. Sometimes I wish they were not, like when I get them all just right for a picture and they shake it all up again lol.

| One doe and one doesn't. Gabby stands there with a wounded look on her face as though a bath strips her of every ounce of her dignity. She won't talk to me for several hours after a bath. Issy shakes, shakes and then shakes again. After a bit she'll run wild through the room and roll around on anything that has any level of fabric content. You know...rugs, curtains, furniture, ME! The whole process goes on for close to an hour and kinda resembles an ADHD dog with autism.

All kidding aside, Tibbe shakes so well after a bath in the sink, left to his own devices, I think he could wash my walls down in no time.
