I got furbaby number 2!!! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

So I did it!!! With jersey only being 15 weeks old I decided to look around for another furbaby to add to our growing family We are so happy to add another. A friend of mine had two left from a litter she had and told me about her one and only female still being available so I went and checked her out and like jersey it was love at first sight so I got to bring her home this friday. So The new baby is 11 weeks old on wednsday. She is the bigger of the two. lol her parents were 7 and 6 pounds she was 2 pounds I believe at 8 weeks. Jersey stands a hair taller then her. Her name is KIWI lol. Shes a little on the shy side. Jersey was doing great on the potty training but with kiwi being here she has set back a little. Jersey likes to pick on her. She had a moment the day we got her she tried attacking her when I showed her any attention. I told her NO and ignored her, Then later came back and played with her and then both her and kiwi both. They both got baths yesterday kiwi did great jersey bit me when I was drying her off she hates being rubbed with the towel I guess .. but we took a trip to walmart and got both of them a dress and a shirt and a cute hoodie then I found some cute little toys to add to the collection. Today she seems a little scared of jersey. But I know after a few days she will get use to the atmposphere of the house. So Thats my latest update on my furbabies!

Congrats on your new furbaby!! Two are better than one!!

Rosie had a rough adjustment with Mikki at first. But we managed and they get along good now. I love to watch them play. I got lots of good advice here. So don't be afraid to post any questions you have. And again, Congrats!!!

Awwww...Congratulations! It may take a little while to get used to each other. It's nice that you were able to find another pup so close in age and size though. I hope things smooth out quickly for you.

I have TWO puppies now. Yumble will be a year August 11 and Zachary will be 5 months on July 7. Not as close together in age as yours but they are BEST friends!!

How wonderful! I always thought Yorkies should come in sets. Double trouble and double fun! I bet they will be best friends soon.

I totally agree, though potty training is def. gonna be rough jersey was doing great. But now she is having set backs. Kiwi never seems to stop long enough to empty her bladder she goes for a second then goes again a few minutes later. But they are already finally getting along! running the house chasing each other lol
