Sorry for your loss. Maybe another puppy in another breed--a biewer perhaps, similar but different. Or just wait until you think you are ready. I too have lost a special puppy. a new puppy will give you something new to focus on and not leave you feeling so sad and lost.

Thank you for replies.Yes the new puppy [Reuben] has eased the pain of course,he,s a real little cutie and we love him already.We still cry over Presley,and frightened to death something will happen to Reuben.Trying our hardest not to spoil him.But it,s brought home once again,how precious all life is.

We r so very Sorry for ur lost, We know what it's like to lose a dog of the family. We lost our POMERANIAN about a year ago and til this day we all still have tear's coming down our face. It's hard but u can always bring in a new life into ur house and share with the new dog the good u have to share and giving a home to a speical dog not replace but to give a home to another baby. May god be with u in this need of grief.

I'm so glad you decided to get a new puppy. To me it's the best cure for grief since chicken soup was invented for physical ailments.
