| First sick vet visit So i switched my bentleys food last week. I had been mixing old with new for a few days and then ran out of old so i just fed the new stuff.... A day or two after i started to notice bentleys poop schedule was a little off... Then i started noticing his stool was getting looser. He has had HORRIBLE gas. And all of his bowel movement smelled awful too..also i could hear his tummy gurgling sometimes and could tell that at times it would bother him...Then i started seeing clumps of grass. And it looked like it had mucus in it.... This morning he woke us up at his normal potty time only to find that he had had horrible diarrhea twice in his cage. So it was bath time a quick potty trip and made sure he got some water. Slept for 2 hours and it happened again. So i took him to the vet. She tried to get a fecal sample but couldnt due to him having such bad diarrhea. She said she thought it was probably the food but gave me a set of antibiotics, some anti-diarrhea meds, and some wormer to start in a few days just in case... I also gave him a little gatorade. This scared the mess out of me... Has anyone else had this happen from switching foods????? He has had two doses of anti biotics now and one of his anti-diarrhea. I think its getting better, but definitely not back to normal.... Just glad it wasnt Any worse.. Idk what i would do if he got REALLY sick... I felt sooooo bad!!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry Bentley is sick. I have had some stomach upsets when switching foods but it usually cleared up pretty quickly. I am glad you got him to the vet and on some medicines. Hope he is better soon.
