Well, I left Roxie for the morning at the new place. I was able to watch her on webcam the whole time. She definitely stayed back from the pack most of the time, but she wasn't hiding in a corner. She looked like she was just observing. She was the smallest dog there, although there were quite a few other Yorkies and Chihuahuas with her. I'm going to bring her back Friday morning for another few hours. I want her to have the opportunity to socialize with other dogs, and have time to play off-leash. We'll see where it goes from there. I'd still rather leave her with my parents when we're away.

BTW - I won't consider a petsitter in my home. I trust no one in my home that isn't family. It's just the way I am.

I have had pet sitters too...but they have always been very close friends or family. I had a friend stay at my house for 2 months when alan had his transplant December. It worked out great, I bless her name in my prayers every day!
