| I Need Some Help Please ! i want to give oscar's coat a trim. no shaving , just even out the edges. he looks a raggedy. however i don't know where to begin. i want to do what they call on the videos a "traditional yorkie cut". i think i could do the body but have no idea about the head. the videos i found on you tube are of no use. do you have any advice for me ? i would truly appreciate it..... |

| No advice but I know several ones here do their own trimming and can give you tips. Good luck |

| LOL- Take him in and have him get trimmed! Trust me... DH and I attempted to Groom Peanut- http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ed-peanut.html There is the thread! It is much harder than it looks TRUST ME- I know you are just wanting to "trim" but unless you want to always trim him and keep up on it I would leave it to the professionals

| I'm too nervous also. I just take her to a really good groomer I trust. They say she is AWESOME! I'm guessing just like with my kids...she won't keep still for me. lol

| Cutting a Yorkie is like cutting human hair, you cut one piece and then you almost have to blend it in LOL- It's pretty hard to do and it does take some talent!!
