| dewclaws... my bunjee still have his dewclaws. my vet says if i would like to have them removed, i can have it done when he's getting neutered. i was wondering how many of yorkies out there still have their dewclaws, all 4 or just the fronts? is dewclaw removal necessary for this breed? pros about doing it? cons about doing it? TIA |

| I would get it done when you have him neutered. They get caught on things very easily is what I have read. My dogs dont have them.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | read this thread...it also talks about dew claws. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24787 if you're going to get it done, during neutering/spaying is the best time. also best time to get extra teeth removed.
