Thanks for everyone's greeting. Herschel is three for those that asked. He is neutered and thinks he runs the show. He loves his long walks in the early hours of the morning. We live in Palm Springs and in summer the only time that it is possible to walk him is about 5:30 am. I have been feeding him a mix of his dry food (soaked) and ground very lean beef with peas and carrots. He likes it but the only problem is that he also like to be hand fed. Hates eating from his dish. So I spoil him. Why not. I am single and he is my companion not just my pet. I have ordered Darwin's raw to switch him to.

My Gracie used to be hand fed as well. Now that she is on a raw diet she eats so much better. I had been thinking of changing to Darwin's but they want me to be on automatic delivery and the amount they want me to order seems to be too much for such a small dog. I would love to hear how you do with it if you try it.

I thought the same thing.... !! Especially when I do raw one meal and
kibble the other meal.

They say it will stay good for 6-months in the freezer and you can
adjust the next delivery date. I'll stay with NV for now but am interested
to see how everyone's pups do with Darwin's
