| Which Snoozer Seat to get? I have been looking at the Snoozer Seats for quite awhile. I definitely need to change car seats, and I am wondering which is the best Snoozer seat for me to get. I have two small ones that can share a seat... I would just need to add an extension to attach to their harness for the second one. One weighs right at 3 pounds, and the other one weighs right at 4.3 pounds. I had looked at the console seat, and I had looked at the small lookout (it was the one with the storage underneath the seat) I didn't know if the one that sits in the seat would be tall enough to allow them to still see out. They are 7 and 8 inches tall. I thought the small would probably be big enough, but I wasn't positive. As far as the console seat I didn't know if their would be enough room for them to be comfortable. They are well within the weight requirements, and I think it might be ok, but I just don't want them to be cramped!! I wanted to know from someone that has these seats what size and which seat do you think would be best. I've found pretty good prices through Petco with their sale, but if anyone else knows of better pricing anywhere, I would certainly welcome your input Thanks in advance for your help!!! |

| I'm looking too Hi, I've been looking at the Snoozer seats too. I have one girl arriving next week. I thouight about the console seat - but with that one, the puppy can't really view out the window. Besides, I keep my sunglasses and other stuff in my console - so how would I access it while driving? The one I like (you may have mentioned it) is the one that sits up high and is buckled in on the bottom. Doesn't the larger one have 2 straps on it? Maybe on mistaken. I thought it did. And you can attach both pups to the one seat. I've been told that Amazon has pretty good prices on stuff. I've been looking on eBay too. And many dog stuff sites have coupon/promo codes for 10 -20% discounts. So, it's good to look around. Let me know what you find. Tracey |

| I wouldn't use the console seat for two dogs....even small ones. The medium might work for the two but then you have the situation with the hook up for the two of them. Gracie is little and I figured she would fit nicely in a small but I wanted her to be able to lay down and be comfortable also. The medium works great for that with her. How far do you travel with them. If you just go on short jaunts then a medium might work but if they are in there for a while I would go with the bigger one just so they can relax. |

| I have a small snoozer lookout II (with the drawer). While my two would probably fit side by side and are within the weight limit I would need to have the medium if they were going to travel together. The extra 7" in width would give them room to move. The actual inside seat is about 12" square (the size of a floor tile) |

| If your looking for a car seat check out the one I have, Binky loves it. It sits high so he can see out the windows, has a security strap you can hook to their harness. I went to the dollar store and got one of there cloth key chains it has a hook on one end and a loop on the other. You could get two and hook both of them to the security strap to hook to pups. The one thing I like about this seat is it hooks to my car seat in two places. One is around the headrest and the other is a belt that goes all the way around the seat itself and the belts are adjustable so you can make it as high or low as you want. It also has a pocket in the front for storage. Price wise I paid $28 for it on sale. Go to my pictures if you want to see it. Please be advised I am redoing my pictures because I have had some issues. If it's not there it will be in a day or two.

| One other very important thing to consider. Do you have a passenger side air bag!! If you do get a console. I would be really afraid having my 4lb little guy in that seat if the air bag goes off, it has such force I would be afraid it might kill him. I had my son-in-law disconnect mine, I never have any passengers except Binky.

| I have a medium snoozer for my 4.2# baby. It is tall enough for her to see out and I like that size as it gives her plenty of room to move around. But please disable your airbag of you put it in the front. |

| I have the My Buddy Lookout Snoozer for my 2 boys. It's pretty big, and they have lots of room to each lay down. My boys are bigger though at 13ishlbs and 6lbs. It's tall enough so they can see out the window without standing up. |

| I have a medium Pet Gear seat that stays in backseat of my car all the time. I bought a medium snoozer (with a storage drawer) for when ZoE goes in other vehicles, thinking it would be the same size and it's not, it's quite a bit bigger. Two small yorkies could easily fit in the medium snoozer. ZoE's a teapot (tall & long) and she has plenty of room to stretch all the way out in it. You can buy additional fasteners for the snoozer to hold another dog.

| Thanks everybody for all of the input. I meant to put in my original message that my front passenger airbag automatically disables if there is less than 100 pounds in the front seat. But, I couldn't agree more on how dangerous it would be for an airbag to deploy if they were in the passenger seat!! I'm definitely adding an extension to create another attachment for the second harness. I just have to decide on which size seat still. I want them to have enough room to be comfy... even though they typically lay right on top of each other even when they have the choice to lay anywhere in the entire house |

| Hi, I have the small, buddy and console snoozer seats. I originally bought the small and the console seats when I only had one. I found the buddy seat at a local consignment shop. For the short trips around town, the small seat works just fine with my 2, they are just over 5lbs each. We use the buddy seat in hubby's suv as we take longer trips in his car. I really have not used the console seat much since Maggie May came into our lives. I usually take the 2 of them out together. Hope this helps. I have a a toyota 4 runner and the small fits perfectly in the front passenger seat. The buddy seat is snug in the front seat. One day my neighbor and I took her 2 and my 2 to get ther nails done and I put my snoozer in the back seat...it's been there ever since and they do just fine. I thought for sure they would have a problem but they perfectly content being in the back seat.

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | My car seat is due to arrive today. It will sit in the middle of my truck front seat. My DH has been legally blind since birth and I always drive. Now that I am retired, we go most everywhere together so Zachary will be sitting between us. I was a bit concerned about the car booster seat I ordered being not deep enough. But I ordered a Buddy Belt and the seat has a teather on it (2 actually) so if I slam on the brakes, he won't fly off it. The passenger seat has an air bag (have to keep in functional) but there is not one in the middle (and is a wide seat). I am hoping that having Zachary up high enough to see stuff will help with the problems we are having when we take him out. Shoulder handbag carrier does NOT work (gets diarrhea) and we are not sure if he got sick this week because of the shots he just had gotten or nervousness. Regardless, we are trying to make this travel thing fun for him since I SOOOOOO much want to take him places!! Louise |
