Thank you all. We did make it back fine and are all worn out from the long drive. I have read up on hypoglycemia and will take extra care to be sure and watch for symptoms. He is actually 8 weeks tomorrow. They are both doing well right now. Thanks again. I will post pics soon.

| Congrats on your two new babies. I also took two pups together they are a great comfort to each other especially at night and if we go out and leave them home. As far as hypoglycaemia goes this is caused by low blood sugar. I made site there was food left down for them all the time to start with untill they were a couple of lbs in weight. Even over night I left a bowl of food and water in the crate. Enjoy them they aren't puppy's for long.

I think your boy is a little too young to be coming home yet, but congrats on your new pups, The breeder should keep him at least another 3 weeks. Can't wait to see pics

It's going very well. Both puppies have slept well at night and are both eating good. I am not worried anymore about the little boy. The breeder had told me that since he was going home with an almost 12 week old, he wasn't worried about him either. I have their vet check today but I am going to enjoy these little fur balls so much! Pics will come when I figure all this out.

I am also new here. I have had my wonderful yorkie poo for 4 months now, he was 3 mos. when I got him. I have never loved a dog so much (at least so quick, lol)! I am so excited to hear all the great things about yorkies, and all the great advise from you all. My little guys name is Freddie the Freeloader! Named by my husband who said no to bringing him home.....now I don't know what he would do without him. Are yorkies always close to just one person? Seems he's closer to me than anyone, not that I mind, but if I go into another room, even if he's sound asleep, he'll get up to follow me. He does not do that to anyone else.
