you must be sooo excited!! he is an absolute doll and i cant wait to see more pics once you get him home!! what kind of play pen did you get? i was thinking of getting one also, but everyone keeps telling im dumb to get one for a dog...

Ibought the play and carry from Wal Mart for $39. It folds up and has a carrying bag. Can not really gate off a section of ny house due to large doorways, so figured I could at least use it some to contain him when I am busy.

Okay, I'm trying not to be rude here. But I posted this and there were no responses on it, not even from the thread starter. Maybe it was just overlooked. Does anyone else think that the puppy *MIGHT* not be happy being kept in this cage in these pics? I don't want to be rude or skip to conclusions. Sorry, I just couldn't sleep last night thinking about the pictures. I really hope I'm wrong and I hope that she goes to the breeding facility and tells me that the breeder was very caring and was only put there for the pic. Good luck with your puppy and I know it's probably too late because today is Saturday, but I hope you do know what to look for in a good breeder. Sorry again if I offended anyone.

I absolutely agree with you! The little one needs a blanket and I would be very concerned about their paw getting caught because the cage is to big on the bottom.

He's very sweet. I was kinda wondering about the 'cage' he is in. Also, he looks really young. How old is he?

I agree. I dont know whay I didnt notice that when I first posted. My breeder kept her pups in an xpen. I think she also had some cages but they didnt have wire bottoms like this one. They were solid metal bottoms. She also boards dogs too though.

This is exactly what I had. No, I think mine was called Sport. But it was one of those fold and carry things with a bag. Took my eight week old puppy three days to gnaw a hole in it and crawl out. I put him back in and watched him to see how he did it and he nearly got hung. he was halfway thru with front and back legs failing the air. I had to help him out. Needless to say it would have been dangerous for him if I had not seen him. made me wonder what the little guy went thru to get out the first time and how lucky I am that he did not hang himself. i stopped using it that day and put a baby gate up between my living room and kitchen.

Well happily, this baby is coming home soon and wont have to stay in such a kennel as this. (wired floor) It's hard to pass judgement on just one picture so I'm not going to comment too much on that right now.

Congratulations on your baby and I hope he and you share lotsa love and joy for many years.
