| ![]() I had Sophie Kate exactly 30 seconds when she let out her first bark at 3 months of age. Now approaching her 4th Birthday she is still barking. Enjoy the quiet while you have it.

| ![]() Sometimes when Gracie is in terrier mode she will want me to play tug with her and one of her toys. She'll bark but the funniest thing is when she growls! I swear it sounds like a cat's purr. She is trying to sound all scary and tough but she sounds like she is purring! I guess you just have to be there. That scary sound she is trying to make just makes me laugh! |

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | ![]() Max was about 6 months old when I first heard a real bark. He is not too yappy but will bark at my other dogs when they are playing and sometimes when he first goes in his crate. Hopefully your little one will be the quiet type. ![]()

| ![]() I don't think I heard Riley bark until he was about 8-months old..... and even now, he very Rarely Barks. He will occasionally bark if he hears someone out in the hallway.... When he started doing that.... I would bang on my glass coffee table and put my finger up to my lips and say "No Bark"! He would stop and then I say... "Good No Bark" and we both go running into the kitchen for a little treat... usually a piece of a green bean. ![]() So now if he barks at the door, he will only bark a couple of times, and then he will stop and look back at me..... |

| ![]() maybe your baby wont be a barker. luckly my ziggy isnt either. he only barks if he hears his Big brother barking outside, or when he is having a temper tantrum!lol. so many people have asked me "does ziggy ever bark?" thats how quiet he is. but i like it. especially beause when we move out our house we'll be going to an apartment so i like that he's quiet, im hoping his sister will be the same

| ![]() My 4 year old that I just adopted barks at people's movement even after they are in the house. I don't mind the initial barking when they come to the house. I can tell that my house guests are annoyed with being barked at when they make any movements. Not sure how to deal with that. My other Yorkie isn't a barker. I'm thinking it's the excitement of having them in the house. Any ideas? |

| ![]() The funny thing with all three of them is they bark in unison Mollie the oldest is loosing some of her hearing but as soon as Lizzie starts she will join in. Then Abbie who what's the funniest bark that is a bark / chirp / pur will join in. The unfortunately we have to glass windows beside our front door which is Lizzie's look out point. She will se another dog and wants to go out to play and the whole gang will follow. I at have the UPS driver who has stopped ringing the door bell zo they want go nuts. However if Liz hears a doorbell on tv it is her trigger to bark and bark and bark |
