| I did something bad! Guys, I shaved Joel, I know but I couldn't help it. Were going camping at Eklutna Lake and I could not go with his hair long so we bought clippers and shaved him. He was so good and let us do it and he looks so different bc he's gray instead of black now. But he is still so stinkin cute, and he'll have fun on his first camping trip. We'll be gone for 5 days, hopefully it'll stop raining! But were definetly still going cuz we tooks all these days off daycare and I dont want to sit home instead. Anyway I'll post pics when we get back. |

| Thanks, its cut pretty short but im so glad I don't have to brush it. And in the middle of shaving him me and my sister got realy worried about actually doing it, we were like "oh my word, what did we do!" Lol but I got used to it and think he looks adorable |

My furkids Donating Member | I have 3 yorkies...Sadie (my first) doesn't have a pretty coat...It doesn't grow long but, never matts either..she actually looks better clipped Lillie (our second girl) has a GORGEOUS coat...was A LOT of work to keep her in coat...she is that silvery blue with a tan face....very pretty, if i don't mind saying so!...but her hair would matt so bad and she, all of a sudden, didn't like being brushed anymore ....her coat would actually drag on the floor if I didn't keep cutting it....Bentley, our new little guy had a very straggly coat.....I thought maybe clipping him it would grow in better...well...it is! however....he gets clipped too!...I don't shave them...I use 1 1/2" clipper guide so the still have a coat to brush...just not a long one! much easier on me too!...we camp as well...and it's easier to have their coats shorter..

| I'm sure you will love it short just as much as long! They are just so cute either way! Baths and grooming are sooooo much easier with a shorter cut!!
