Get out the camera and start taking Christmas pictures!! There's going to be a YT christmas picture contest coming up soon! We are taking donations for prizes if anyone wants to help! There are going to be different catagories, so have fun!! (Oh, and don't submit any photos just yet

Did anyone see Carter's Moms christmas card today?? Maybe she should judge instead of enter..LOL...Almost makes it not fair for the rest of us with the the wiggly, busy Yorkies!! I'm sure it took alot of shots to get the perfect one..She managed to not only decorate her background flawlessly, but get THREE YORKIES to sit still and look gorgeous!! It is an unbelievably good pic.

Oh, What fun...I didn't get in the last Contest my daughter was getting married so too much to do at that time. Keep us Posted Megan and thanks for doing this...

I know, Carter's Mom is an amazing photographer and I'm still in awe of her talent and how gorgeous her babies are - all THREE of them! *sigh* Her pic is so amazing I want to print it up and use it as MY Christmas card this year (hehe).

I didn't get to enter the Halloween contest either b/c of our recent move......so if I get any entry-worthy Christmas photos, I'm excited to enter them!

Has anyone gotten a copy of the GW Little catalog lately? There is an article in there about photographing your pet that gives tips on how to produce a great image. Most of the tips are the same things I've said all along - most importantly -- get on your dog's eye level!

When looking to fill the background for a themed photo, think small. I used silk poinsettias and decorative Christmas trees from Michaels. Those large ball ornaments would be good too (I have some in a bag in the corner that I should have thrown in there). You'll be surprised how quickly you can change a snapshot into a portrait!

well im going to have to take 1000 pictures to get 1 good one so i had better start taking pics now, if i cant get both of my girls in one pic can i do 2 seperate ones

Will group photos be allowed this time? I didn't enter the halloween because the costume was Hugh Hefner and his palyboy Bunnies so it was a group entry which wasn't allowed.

I will take singles and groups but I would like to enter one of each of them indiviually AND a group one. maybe we could have a group photo as one of the categories or something? Just a thought.
